By using EstateHounder ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
EstateHounder is an AI-powered research tool that helps users identify antiques, collectibles, and other items at estate sales. The Service provides general information and estimates for educational and informational purposes only.
Important: All item identifications, valuations, and appraisals generated by EstateHounder are produced by artificial intelligence and are estimates only. They are not professional appraisals, and should not be relied upon as such.
EstateHounder makes no warranties or guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated content. Actual market values may differ significantly from our estimates.
We strongly recommend consulting a certified appraiser or professional before making significant purchase decisions based on our estimates.
You must be at least 13 years old to use EstateHounder. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.
You may use EstateHounder without an account for up to 3 free item identifications. To access research history across devices, sync your shopping list, purchase credits, or subscribe to a Pro plan, you must create an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
EstateHounder offers free research credits and paid credits. Free credits are limited to 3 per account. Paid credits are purchased in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law.
Subscription plans (Pro) are billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for unused portions of a subscription period.
We reserve the right to change pricing at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of any price changes.
You agree not to:
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Upload images containing illegal content, nudity, or personally identifiable information of others without consent
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service
• Resell or redistribute access to the Service without our written permission
• Use automated tools to access the Service at scale
The EstateHounder name, logo, and all related content are owned by EstateHounder and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of any photos you upload. By uploading photos, you grant us a limited license to process them through our AI system to provide the Service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, EstateHounder shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to financial losses resulting from purchase decisions made based on our estimates.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on our website or sending you an email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
